Immediate past Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha was on Monday July 18th, conferred with the award of Fellowship of the National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS).
A letter nominating Ihedioha for the award said the conferment was in recognition of his”immense contributions to the growth of the Legislature in Nigeria, particularly the National Institute for Legislative Studies.
Other fellowship awardees by the Institute are Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal and immediate past President of the Senate, David Mark.
Others are former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole and ex deputy speaker and incumbent Senator, Ibrahim.
The conferment ceremony would be presided over by Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. Some pictures from the event.
