An Owerri High Court presided over by Hon. Justice N. Ukoha has ordered that all court processes in Suit No. HOW/402/2014 between Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho and Chief Martin Agbaso should be pasted on the entrance gate of Chief Agbaso’s house at Ezedibia Emekuku Owerri Imo State.
This was sequel to a Motion Ex-parted dated the 12th day of June, 2014 and filed by counsel to Capt. Ihenacho, D. C. Denwigwe, SAN, & Associates.
In an affidavit sworn on behalf of the former minister, it was deposed that several attempts to served Chief Agbaso the said court processes had failed as the APGA chieftain was alleged to be evading personal service of the processes on him.
It could be recalled that recently, some Owerri based newspapers published a press interview credited to Chief Agbaso where the Emekuku Owerri-born politician among other things, accused the former minister of being indebted to AMCON and of bankruptcy.
Following numerous calls from various persons in Imo State and beyond expressing dismay over the said press statement, the former minister wrote to Chief Agbaso and demanded an apology and retraction of the publication which Chief Agbaso refused to do.
Consequently, the former minister sued Chief Agbaso claiming the sum of =N=10 billion for defamation.
