On Sanusi’s exit as CBN Governor – Joi John

SANUSII recall my interview with the former CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi a while ago. Nice fellow. Highly Intelligent, professional and down to earth! I may not have agreed entirely with his policies but overall, he was a great banker – no one can deny that!

Mallam Sanusi loved his job and worked passionately but when the crack started setting in, I knew the walls were bound to crumble. It was only a matter of time.

Now that he’s been shown the door, it is needless abusing the Presidency.

The same way it hurts seeing Sanusi disgraced out of office is just about the same way it hurt when erstwhile Immigration boss, Rose Uzoma was disgracefully kicked out of her exalted office. It is also the same way a particular part of the country felt when Prof.Barth Nnaji was given the boot from the President’s Cabinet. I am tempted to add the just relieved Stella Oduah to the list but for obvious reasons, I will keep her out of this. There are a string of other references. No one is indispensable so Sanusi’s exit will not pull down mountains.
