Imo Speaker, Benjamin Uwajumogu hosts send-forth party for outgoing CP Mohammed Katsina

As the outgoing Commissioner of Police in the State, Mohammed Musa Kastinaprepares to proceed on higher responsibilities in the Nigeria Police Force, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu has described the outgoing Commissioner as a gentleman and quintessential police officer committed to building a force that would bethe pride of all Nigerians.

Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu who spoke in Owerri during a sendforth party organized by the Imo State House of Assembly in honour of the police commissioner maintained that Commissioner Kastina brought unparallel panache, efficiency and commitment to his job in the State during his tenure stressing that the outcome of that uncommon dedication is the air of freedom being enjoyed in the State today in the area of security of lives and property.

Making particular reference to the scourge of kidnapping that almost became a hydra headed problem in the State, the Speaker stated that the outgoing police boss through various strategies was able to reduce the vice to the barest minimum to the extent that last years Christmas was adjudged the most peaceful in the history of the State in recent times.

SPKRAccording to Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, Imo people would forever remain grateful to Comm. Kastina for his result oriented policing that greatly boosted the investment drive of the present administration, adding that the force needed more officers like him to ensure adequate protection of lives and property across the country especially now that insecurity is stalking all the nooks and crannies of the nation.

Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu enjoined the Commissioner not to relent in his dedication to duty which according to him would take him to the pinnacle of the profession adding that Imolites would continue to pray for him even as he wished him well in his future assignments.
