Imo State government reacts to alleged demolition of Ohakim’s Legacies.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy Mr. Chinedu Offor says the State government is only concerned in uplifting the living standard of the people through provision of quality education and infrastructure as against allegations made by the opposition party.

Explaining the government spokesman, noted that the ‘New Face’ school building situated within Township Primary School Owerri does not fall in line with the on-going state- of- the art classroom blocks in the place and maintained that if left, would distort the architectural design of the pre-cast primary school edifice which now adorn the city with splendor.

He however described as baseless the allegation by some members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) that the present government under the leadership of Owelle Rochas Okorocha is pulling down legacies left by the previous administration

Mr. Offor therefore averred that the Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s administration is determined to rescue the State from stunted development and enjoined the opposition parties to eschew emotions that becloud their sense of reasoning but join hands with the present administration to build a better Imo.
