OGUTA CONSTITUENCY ELECTION SAGA: No one will be sworn in – High Court.

This saga brought to us by the Oguta Constituency is getting moreinteresting by the week.

This time around, the High Court brings another twist in the unfolding episode with an order that NO ONE SHOULD BE SWORN IN ON AS MEMBER FOR OGUTA STATE CONSITUENCY by the Speaker, Rt.Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu.

An anonymous source at the High Court just reached out to report that His Lordship, Justice Ngozi Okpara  has ordered that no one should be sworn in as member for Oguta State constituency. We also gathered that Justice Okpara  has washed his hands off the case and its been forwarded to the Chief Judge of State, Justince Benjamin Njemanze for re-assignment. In other words, nna anyi ukwu has “taken cover”.

So, what could have made  a whole Justice Okpara wash his hands off  this case all of a sudden? Could his life be in danger? Is he being threatened? If so by who?

Last week, we learnt about the chaos that took place at the House of Assembly complex when the PDP candiate who believed he rightly won the elections showed up with his supporters and was asked to come back on August 29th.  Some were reported to have been injured. An Honourable member said he was humilated at the gate, we learnt some said they were beaten to stupor by hired thugs……It took the intervention of Soldiers to keep the place under control.

Anyway, all that should be buried in the past. We are moving on to the next episode of the  RULE OF LAW.

For those who care to know what the Court order reads, the documents are conveniently attached.
