Politics or no Politics, Gov.Adams Oshimole really needs to bind the spirit of death chasing him and his aides about.
The fatal accident that claimed the lives of three journalists in Gov.Oshimole’s convoy is still fresh in our minds. A statement issued by Tony Iyare, (Special Adviser on Media) said that the incident happened when a lorry lost control, veering off its track and heading straight for the Governor’s car missing it by the whiskers. It later hit the Toyota Land Cruiser conveying security details which immediately somersaulted. The lorry also hit the bus conveying the Government House Press Crew.
Days later, Gov.Oshimole’s Principal private secretary, Olaitan Oyerinde is murdered by gunmen right in his bedroom. As expected, fingers started pointing at PDP which led to the State PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih to hold a press conference. While denying the party’s involvement in the Olaitan’s assasination, he recounted mysterious deaths that have trailed Gov. Oshimole …..
“The first was Chima Ubani who, while travelling in Oshiomhole’s official car, in September 2005, died in a fatal accident on his way from Maiduguri where he attended an anti-subsidy removal rally organised by labour.
“In 2008, exactly one month after he assumed office as governor of Edo State, his personal assistant, Mr. Greg Aruna and his chief press secretary, Mr. Chris Nwachukwu died in a mysterious automobile accident along Ewu-Auchi Road.
“You would also recall that while returning from a party in Governor Oshiomhole’s residence in Iyamho, a group of girls lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident inside Hon. Phillip Shaibu’s official Avensis car. If these deaths had occurred now, Governor Oshiomhole and his handlers would have told the world that PDP was responsible….”.
Only God knows if everything that was said in that Press conference was true but the incidents listed above are factual. Not like they were cooked by PDP. But will PDP take advantage of the tragic deaths surrounding Gov. Oshimole to carry out more assassinations to destabilize his election campaign? Your guess is as good as mine.
On the other hand, is there a possibility that these deaths could be linked with a blood covenant somewhere? No vex, Your Excellency, Sir. E ma binu! Just asking out of genuine concern.
Ha si onye ndi iro gbara gburugburu na-eche ndu ya nche mgbe n’ile. (Meaning, he who is surrounded by enemies guards his life at all times.) There is no other way to do so than to immerse oneself in the blood of Jesus.
Gov. Oshimole needs to soak himself in prayers. If he has entered into any covenant at any point in his life, its never too late to seek the face of God and ask for forgiveness. He is not the first public official that has lost an aide but the numerous occurrences get as e be. I also advise that the remaining Governor’s aides should hold daily prayer meetings to wade off any evil manipulation of the enemy and purge out the WITCHES and WIZARDS in their midst. This is not the time to point fingers at opposition in the Media. The time being used in launching counter attacks can be used for prayer sessions.
No power is greater than God’s.
