MAY DAY: COS, Prince Eze Madumere applauds workers in Imo. Calls for strategic approach to productivity.

The Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Prince Eze Madumere KSC, while appreciating and congratulating Imo workers on the annual celebration for their support and inputs to the growth of the State so far, he called on the workers to embrace a strategic approach towards improving productivity for a sustainable development.



The Chief of Staff in a press statement further admonished Imo workers to be custodians of high moral culture and remain stewards of greater future for the State. He , however showered encomiums on them for holding forth for the present administration led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha OON as his five –star performances could not have been possible without their support and congenial relationship that exist between them and the Government.



He said that this year’s annual celebration calls for sober reflection in the way we conduct the business of making Imo State better. He boasted that Imo State has the best equipped and trained civil servants whose skills are yet to be tapped optimally.



Speaking on Community Government, the Chief of Staff buttress the need to embrace it as it is the only pragmatic way out of the monoculture in the body polity. He decried the reliance on the paltry sum for the development of Imo State. He however opined that the achievement of the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha KSC is premised on sacrifice, sense of direction and his visionary leadership that is legacy driven. He called on the workers to reflect on Government’s proposal for the Community Government without any sentiment and would discover that it is only way out for everyone and for the State in general.




His words: “we appreciate your inputs so far and capacity to help achieve a greater Imo State; we can only charge you to do more by ploughing your know-how in developing Imo State to a diversified productive State. Monoculture has remained the bane of our dream to building an economically strong State. Be counted as one of those who made it work and posterity will remember you well”.
