Rochas vs Gov.Ohakim in the last knockout match moderated by the people…..your votes (hopefully) will decide who will become the new Governor of our beloved state. As the saying goes, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Let’s see who did their homework just right. Gov.Ohakim has pleaded for a second chance. As humans we all make mistakes but on the other hand, sometimes those mistakes are costly and the damages are irreparable.
While some citizens of the state dismissed his plea as a PR Stunt, we should be willing to forgive.
Chief Owelle Rochas Okorocha is no doubt loved by the majority.
The April 26th election was certainly a victory for APGA. Fast Forward 10 days later, I’m afraid the powers that be will be swinging the Victory to the left. Yesterday, I predicted that the numbers that would emerge would leave us speechless for the next four years. Today in Owerri, a group of “Voters” were busted at Disney Hotel Room 102 and 103. LWKM. Massive thumbprinting on the hijacked voting materials. Don’t ask me WHO they were voting for… we should just be glad they have been caught, disgraced and arrested. The elections in Oguta did not hold as the INEC officials were forced to take their leave from the LGA. The drama continues to unfold…
God forbid that our Politians resort to desperation. Power is given; not taken.
In the words of Samule Hungtington, “Money becomes evil not when it is used to buy goods but when it is used to buy power… economic inequalities become evil when they are translated into political inequalities”. When the abuse of buying and selling votes crepes in and Money becomes the determining factor in our elections, how can we boldly stand up at the United Nations as a Democratically elected Government?. #Food for thought.
